Vijay Devarakonda has been working on Kingdom for quite some time. Initially planned for a summer release, the film was later scheduled for July 4th. However, the release is likely to be delayed again.
After the final edit the team felt some scenes needed improvement and decided to reshoot them. Director Gowtam Tinnanuri and his team had shot a lengthy version, but later trimmed it down. Once the crisp version was ready, they went back to reshoot certain parts.
Currently, post-production is still going on. Music director Anirudh has requested more time to complete his work.
Because of these delays, Kingdom might not release on July 4th as planned and could be pushed to August. An official confirmation is expected soon.
The film stars Vijay Devarakonda and Bhagyashree Borse, with production by Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas, and Srikara Studios. Vijay plays a powerful police officer in this action-packed drama.
