Vijay Deverakonda‘s upcoming film, “Family Star,” directed by P. Parasuram and starring alongside Mrunal Thakur, is set to hit theaters on April 5th. Despite receiving a lukewarm response to its main trailer, the team, including producer Dil Raju, has been actively promoting the movie.
During a pre release event, Vijay Deverakonda addressed his previous statement about hoping for a 200 crore gross profits with his film “Liger,” which did not perform as expected. He confessed it was a mistake not to achieve it, but reiterated his commitment to do so someday. He described how meeting his aim of earning 100 crores with his fourth film was a watershed event for him.
Interestingly, Vijay did not make any wild promises about “Family Star” reaching 200 crores, possibly learning from his previous experience. Instead, he stated his determination to bear criticism until he achieved his goal. It conveys humility and a readiness to learn from past mistakes. Only time will tell if “Family Star” becomes a great hit and helps Vijay Deverakonda achieve his grand aim.
