Vijay Devarakonda Takes Legal Action Against

The Delhi HC has issued summons and notice on actor Vijay Devarakonda’s plea seeking protection of his personality rights.

The actor has raised concerns over the unauthorised use of his name, images and identity including fake endorsements, impersonation and AI-generated content.

He has also objected to the sale of merchandise featuring his identity without permission.

Vijay has sought action against misuse across social media and shopping platforms, including Meta, X, Google, Amazon and Flipkart.

His plea also seeks protection against deepfakes and misleading websites. During the hearing, his lawyer said some disputed links had been removed. The court will hear the matter again on February 2nd, 2027.
