Just a day before the release of Tamil-Telugu bilingual film, NOTA, Vijay Deverakonda, the reigning hero of Tollywood divulged that his look was inspired by none other than KTR. “He is the young politician we all know who has a ‘not-so-political’ way of styling. He doesn’t stick to the conventional white and white khadi clothes but goes about experimenting. We tried to emulate the same by pairing a crisp shirt with a chino,” he said.
The cult favourite actor was his usual blatant self while talking about his opinion on politics, films and more. The film is going to be about a happy-go-lucky guy, disinterested in politics but suddenly pushed into the political arena.
The Geeta Govidham actor, when asked how how different the film is fro other political films like Leader or Bharat Ane Nenu, said it does have the essence and premise of other politically inclined films but with a strong touch of verite. “It is similar yet different because it is made in a realistic space. I ensured the actions, reactions and emotions are real. As a normal boy, if I am asked to get into politics toute-de-suite, what would be my reaction mirrors in the film. I added my ideas too in the film wherever needed,” he added.
