Vidya Balan’s Possible Entry In Jailer 2

Rajinikanth has completed shooting for Coolie, which is set for a grand worldwide release on August 14th. He has now begun work on Jailer 2, directed by Nelson.

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has reportedly joined the cast and an official announcement is expected soon. In the first part, Ramya Krishna played Rajinikanth’s wife, but Vidya’s role is still under wraps.

Mohanlal, Jackie Shroff and Shiva Rajkumar, who made special appearances in Jailer, are likely to return for the sequel.

Strong rumours suggest Nandamuri Balakrishna will be seen in a powerful cop role in Jailer 2. There’s also buzz that Nagarjuna, who recently acted with Rajinikanth in Coolie, has been approached to play the lead villain.

Backed by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 is being made on a massive budget. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music, and the film is slated for a theatrical release sometime next year.
