The movie is said to be the most expensive film of India and it will release for 2018, Pongal. The actor has already given nod to his next in the direction of Kabali, director, Pa. Ranjith. The movie will be produced by Dhanush on his Wunderbar films and Rajnikanth family members as well.
The director said to have corrected all the mistakes he did with Kabali and this time all characters will be strong. The movie could be based on a Tamilian don from another state rather than Kabali sequel. Ranjith is extremely delighted with the offer and he wrote a script with a strong female character as well. The team wants to cast an actress who can work to the script requirement and also match up to the stature of Rajinikanth. They have approached Vidya Balan and the actress is still in discussions. Once she is satisfied with the script, her involvement in the film will be finalized as per the dates and other agreements.
