Vidya Balan has issued a warning on Instagram about the deepfake AI videos.
She said, “Some videos that look like me are spreading on social media and WhatsApp. These are deepfake videos made using AI”.
“I have no connection to them and do not support any content shown in them. I am not responsible for anything said in these videos. Please be careful before sharing such videos.”
Recently actresses like Rashmika, Alia, Deepika Padukone, and Katrina Kaif have also faced similar deepfake issues.
Vidya also urged authorities to take strict action against the misuse of AI in creating misleading content.
