Rajnikanth, the biggest Superstar of South Cinema has been facing difficulty in setting up a crazy combination. Many wait for his dates and also actors gladly accept any condition and any role to be a part of his movie. But one actress who has National Fame and great fan following has been missing the chance even though she is willing and more than looking forward to share the screen with the legend.
Vidya Balan, the brilliant actress who propelled to National fame with Parineeta, The Dirty Picture and many more movies had been approached by many makers from South for a role in Rajni movie. First K.S. Ravi Kumar wanted her to play the role of Sonakshi Sinha in Lingaa. She could not accept as she had some creative differences with the director. After that, she got another chance to act in Kabali. While she had some discussions with Pa. Ranjith, she could not allot required number of days for the movie as she was busy with other movies, lost the opportunity.
After the earlier two experiences, still Pa. Ranjith wanted the combination for his new movie with Rajni. For the movie produced by Dhanush, he completed scripting and started location scouting as well. As per the cast he once again had discussion with Vidya and this time the actress heard the narration, liked her character and allotted dates for the project too. But in the last minute, the shoot of the new film was postponed by another month and once again she had to opt out as she already allotted her dates to Tumhari Sulu team. Well, some combinations do take time to come together but we hope this combination does happen definitely in the near future.
