After the huge worldwide success of the 2023 blockbuster Jailer work on its sequel is moving very fast. Vidya Balan is reportedly signed for a powerful role in the second part.
According to some of the reports Vidya Balan will play the daughter of Mithun Chakraborty who is said to be the main villain in the film.
Her character is expected to be a major turning point in the story. This is not a short cameo but a strong role that continues throughout the movie.
While Vidya earlier appeared briefly in Ajith’s Nerkonda Paarvai, Jailer 2 will be her first full-length Tamil film.
Sources say Vidya was highly impressed with her character after hearing the script and agreed to the project immediately.
