Vidaamuyarchi: Ajith Kumar’s Action Drama Faces Plagiarism Allegations

Ajith Kumar‘s Tamil movie Vidaamuyarchi is set to release during Sankranthi 2025. The Telugu version will also have the same name.

This action drama stars Trisha Krishnan as Ajith’s wife. However, the movie is currently facing issues due to allegations of copying.

Rumors say that a Hollywood studio sent legal notices to the makers claiming that the story is copied from their 1997 movie Breakdown.

Both film’s content are same as a husband and wife are on a trip but things take a turn when the wife is kidnapped and the one and only husband must rescue her.

The film is directed by Magizh Thirumeni and produced by Lyca Productions. Arjun and Regina play villain roles in the movie.
