Young Rebel Star Prabhas is currently occupied with two pan-Indian projects, Project K and Salaar, with the former being directed by Nag Ashwin, and the latter being directed by Prashanth Neel. Project K involves big names like Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone and is touted to be a pan-world concept. On the other hand, not much is known about who will be seen sharing screen space with Prabhas in Salaar, apart from the fact that Shruti Haasan is the leading lady of the film, who will be seen as Aadya, a journalist, in the film.
According to the latest reports, veteran Telugu actor Sai Chand, who was recently seen in Fidaa and Uppena, will be seen playing the baddie in the film. While there is no confirmation yet, Salaar is expected to be released in two parts, and it is still unknown whether Sai Chand will be seen as the baddie in only the first part, or in the second part as well.
On the other hand, Prabhas is said to have okayed director’s Maruthi script, titled Raja Deluxe, the shooting of which is expected to begin in the second half of this year. If this turns out to be true, then the film will be Prabhas’s 24th film.
