Veteran actor Chalapathi Rao passes away

Veteran Tollywood actor Tammareddy Chalapathi Rao passed away. Reportedly, he breathed his last on Saturday night after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Chalapathi Rao was 79 years old. He was survived by a daughter and son. His son Ravi Babu is a noted actor cum filmmaker.

The senior actor is widely known for doing villains in the beginning of his career. Later, he shifted his focus to character roles. His did memorable roles in films like Aadi, Chennakesava Reddy among others.
