Dil directed by VV Vinayak gave him his much deserved big break and he won accolades too.

After becoming typecast in many movies and becoming a subject of adult comedy acts, Venu took a break from films. He was accused on becoming monotonous on screen.Now, the actor is ready to take up projects without double meaning comedy and recently, he even had to appear in front of media channels to announce that all his health related speculations and death news were untrue. He after 2 years, landed a role in Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayudu and he hopes it would bring him some more new opportunities.
