So much was said about Venky Mama as it has the real life combination of Venky and Chay in lead roles.
Story: Venkata Ratnam played by Venkatesh loves his nephew Karthik to death after the loss of his parents. Things change when an astrology factor drifts them apart in the film. An upset Chay heads to the military and fights for India. Venkatesh knows about this and heads to Kashmir to bring his Alludu back. How will he do that is the rest of the story.
Performances: Venkatesh is the highlight of the film as the entire story is based on him. Vintage Venky showcases his comedy touch and emotional outburst at the same time. He lived in his role.
Credit should also go to Chay for his lovable role. Payal Rajput is very good in her Hindi speaking role. Raashi Khanna looked beautiful. Nasser was okay and so were then other primary cast.

Analysis: Venky Mama was promoted as a full on family entertainer and it lived up to all the expectaions in the first half. The director nicely sets the family drama in the first half and then brings in the biggest star cast that is a good watch for the audience.
The songs and comedy keeps the viewers engaged. But things get messed up in the second half as Bobby loses track and he brings in the army set up which is dull and boring. The entertainment factor goes down drastically.
But still the film has enough elements to please the general audience as the film is targeted towards them and they will love the Mama alludu who do not disappoint with their screen presence.
