Director Venky Atluri has revealed that Vishwanath And Sons was not the first film he planned with Suriya. He initially narrated a biopic and Suriya liked the script.
However the project could not move forward because of issues related to the story rights. Since Suriya had already completed two biopics and he wanted to do a light hearted family entertainer.
Venky then narrated a much fresh story about the relationship between a 40 year old man and a 20 year old youngster.
Suriya loved this script during the very first narration and immediately agreed to do the film. The project later became Vishwanath And Sons.
The teaser has received a much positive response and the film, produced by Sithara Entertainments, is set to release in theatres on August 14th without fail.
