Victory Venkatesh has been one hero whose next film has been always unpredictable. He after heavy films like Dharama Chakram, Pelli Chesukundam decided to change his path with a little hearted romance like Preminchukundam Raa. Again when he has hit a successful run with back to back family movies he did an out and out comedy like Nuvvu Naaku Nacchav.
Recently, when big heroes started revamping their image with stories that suited their respective box office craze, he chose to experiment as a father in Drushyam and as a boxing coach in Guru. The movies worked big time and he also is the first big hero to star in multi-starrers like Seethamma Vakitlo Srimalle Chettu and Gopala Gopala with Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan, respectively. Now, he is looking to once again change his path and go for a nice breezy comedy entertainer with a senior director like Priyadarshan.
The actor wanted to try out crazy directors like Puri Jagannath and Krish for his next but the discussions did not work out. So the actor started looking for good scripts and many thought he would be doing Jolly LLB2 remake. But the buzz for the movie, is that Pawan Kalyan is showing keen interest to star in the film. Well, Priyadarshan had been in news lately for his controversial choices as Committee Chairman that decided National Award recipients. The controversy has now subsided and the director wants to concentrate on his next movie. Venky after watching director’s recent film, Oppam, asked him to prepare a script for him and the director pitched a story idea that both agreed upon to work. Priyadarshan made two films in Telugu, Nirnayam and Gandeevam way back in early 90’s and if the project goes on sets, this will be his comeback after more than two decades.
