Venkatesh Daggubati was last seen in Venkay Mama, which received a middling response from the critics and audience. However, the actor is not bogged down the film’s theatrical run and has moved on to his next film titled Naarappa. As reported earlier, the film is an official remake of Tamil blockbuster flick Asuran. The latest development is that the director Srikanth Addala and his team are shooting for the film’s fight sequence in Theri Kaadu in Tirunelveli. The place is situated in Tirunelveli and is fondly called as Red Desert of Tamil Nadu. The action sequence featuring Venkatesh.

The action sequence, which appears at a crucial point in the film, is choreographed by Peter Hein. Reportedly, the stuntman had worked in Asuran as well. The makers had shot for the action sequence over 12 days in the Red Desert of Tamil Nadu. Asuran featured Asuran, Manju Warrier and Pasupathi in the lead roles. The film, directed by Vetri Maaran, is based on the Tamil novel named Vekkai written by Poomani. A few weeks ago, the makers of Naarappa revealed the first look posters and Venkatesh looks so similar to how Dhanush featured in Asuran.
