Venkatesh in Talks for another Remake

The Recent popular Malayalam film “Neru” is getting a Telugu remake, and Victory Venkatesh might play the lead. The compelling courtroom drama that is the original movie, starring Mohanlal, has won accolades for both Mohanlal’s performance and the concept plot.

The film, which was directed by Jeethu Joseph, is a record breaking success in Kerala. Venkatesh, having a good rapport with the director since working on “Drishyam 2”, is contemplating the lead role in the Telugu version.

Currently occupied with promoting “Saindhav”, Venkatesh has shown interest in the success of “Neru” and might consider taking on the remake if he finds the film appealing. The storyline of “Neru” revolves around a lawyer aiding in the capture of the culprits involved in the assault of a visually impaired girl.

Despite its seemingly simple premise, the movie maintains an engaging screenplay throughout. If Venkatesh decides to go ahead with the remake, it’s expected to resonate well with the audience. As of now, the production house retains the remake rights, indicating a strong belief in the story’s potential for adaptation.
