Veera Simha Reddy Goes to Historical Places

Veera Simha Reddy starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead role is in the last leg of filming. Being directed by Gopichand Malineni, in this actioner, Balakrishna will be seen in a dual role. To date, the film’s shooting happened at various locations in Kurnool and Hyderabad. The unit even wrapped up a key schedule in Turkey in the month of September.

Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that the film’s shooting shifted to Anantapur. Reportedly, director Gopichand Malineni is canning a few key scenes at historical places in and around Anantapur. Yet another important aspect is that Balakrishna is not participating in the film’s ongoing schedule in Anantapur. This gives a much-needed hint that Gopichand is filming childhood scenes of Balayya’s character.

After wrapping up the ten-day schedule in Anantapur, the major portion of the shooting will be wrapped up except for minor patchwork scenes. Sources reveal that in one of the roles, Balakrishna will be seen as a powerful political leader. Co-starring Honey Rose in a crucial role, Veera Simha Reddy has Kannada star Duniya Vijay in the antagonist role.

While Shruti Haasan is playing the female lead role, this intense drama has Varalakshmi Sarathkumar in a key role. Thaman is the music composer for Veera Simha Reddy. Being produced by Mythri Movie Makers banner, Veera Simha Reddy is gearing up for a release during the Sankranthi festival season.
