VD12: Different of Opinions Between the Team Members

Vijay Deverakonda’s new project under the direction of Gowtham Tinnanuri of Jersey fame was formally announced a few weeks back. Tentatively titled #VD12, the film is being bankrolled by Naga Vamsi’s Sithara Entertainments in association with Trivikram’s wife Sai Soujanya’s Fortune Four Cinemas banner. Srikara Studios banner will be co-producing the film.

As per our sources, #VD12 is likely to go on the floors from mid-summer. “I don’t know where I belong, to tell you whom I betrayed – Anonymous Spy”, is the tagline for the film and concept poster which is revealed along with the announcement poster hints that Vijay will be playing the role of a cop.

Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that director Gowtham Tinnanuri is keen on roping in Anirudh as the music composer for the film. On the other hand, the makers are insisting to bring on board GV Prakash Kumar as the musician for the film. To get clarity on who will be composing soundtracks for #VD12 we have to wait and see for a few more days.

Currently, Vijay Deverakonda has a project titled, Kushi with director Shiva Nirvana at the filming stage. As Samantha’s health condition was not good, the project was kept on hold after wrapping up almost seventy percent of the shooting. As per the latest reports, the shooting for Kushi will resume in March. Being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, Malayalam music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing soundtracks for the Kushi.
