Veteran film producer Vashu Bhagnani has reportedly been hospitalised in London. The reason for his hospitalisation has not been revealed yet. No further details about his health condition or hospital stay are available at present.
The development comes shortly after reports of Income Tax Department searches at 12 locations in Mumbai linked to Bhagnani, actor Rakul Preet Singh and Panorama Studios.
The searches were reportedly part of an inquiry into suspected financial irregularities involving film related transactions and alleged overseas fund transfers.
However, the department has not confirmed any tax violation or disclosed its findings.
Bhagnani and Rakul have not publicly responded to the reports. There is also no official information connecting Vashu’s hospitalisation with the Income Tax searches.
