Varun Tej always chooses interesting concepts, and never fails to entertain the audiences with new scripts. He has already established himself as a bankable actor, and a very promising actor in Tollywood. He is currently working on his upcoming film Ghani, directed by Kiran Korrapati.
Ghani is said to have an interesting connection to Salman Khan, especially with his film Sultan, in which he played a wrestler. Varun Tej will be seen as a boxer in Ghani, and the action composers that worked for Sultan are said to be working for Ghani as well. They are Hollywood based Larnell Stoval and Vlad Rimburg, who are expected to compose high octane, intricately designed action sequences. These action sequences, which will be a major part of the film’s narrative, are said to be the highlight of the film. Varun Tej is said to have taken professional boxing training in preparation for his role, to look convincing as a boxer. It will definitely be interesting to see how these sequences pan out.
Most of Ghani’s shooting is completed, with the exception of a few action sequences and a talkie part. Bollywood actress Saiee Manjrekar is playing the leading lady of the film, while Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Nadiya are playing important roles in the film. Thaman is the music director of the film while Allu Bobby and Siddhu Mudda are producing it.
