Varun Tej’s Ghani to postpone indefinitely?

Earlier, Varun Tej’s boxing drama, Ghani was scheduled for a December 3rd release but as the makers of Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Seenu’s Akhand have announced that the actioner will be out on December 2nd, Ghani team has pushed the film’s release date to December 24th. But for the December 24th release, Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy is scheduled prior and the team is doing film promotions accordingly.

On the other hand, even Nandamuri Kalyan Ram’s mythological drama, Bimbisara is also aiming for a December 24th release. Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that to avoid a clash during the Christmas weekend, the makers of Ghani are planning to postpone the film’s release indefinitely. However, an official announcement regarding the same is awaited.

Being directed by a debutant named Kiran Korrapati, Ghani has Saiee Manjrekar as the female lead. Allu Bobby and Siddu Mudda jointly bankrolled the film. Thaman is the music composer.
