Varun Tej turns NRI for romantic drama

It’s a rare combination, Varun Tej and Sekhar Kammula. But then again, Varun Tej is one rare find in the industry. If everyone is looking for a way to be the next big star, despite his limitations, Varun is trying to be as different as possible.

This film will mark his collaboration with one of the most simplistic filmmakers around. While Sekhar Kammula has been away for a long time busy with his Hindi remake of Happy Days – the 2007 blockbuster – it did come as a surprise when the film was announced. To be produced by Dil Raju, this film is likely to go on floors after Varun Tej’s film with Srini Vaitla which co-stars Hebah Patel and Lavanya Tripathi.
