Varun Tej is one upcoming hero who took slow and steady wins the race very seriously and he maintains a great distance from box office battleroyale at least for now. He is looking at improving himself as an actor first and then create box office wonders as a bankable hero. His script selection suggests that he has plan and he wants to execute it quite well. He started out with Mukunda, then gave a knock out surprise with Kanche and tried to win box office with Loafer but failed to do so.
He took time out to accept next movie and started movies with Srinu Vaitla and Shekhar Kammula. His Mister, with Srinu Vaitla should have released this December, but unfortunately he lost precious time to an ankle injury and after 50 day bed rest he is working hard to complete his Mister and Fida, directed by Shekar Kammula on time. These two movies are set to release sometime during Feb March period in 2017 and if the big releases scheduled could come in between the movies might go beyond that time frame too.
With these two movies, Varun Tej also confirmed another movie for 2017. The movie will be directed by Venkat Atluri, produced by BVSN Prasad on the production house title SVCC creations. The Krishna Gadi Veera Prema Gadha girl, Mehreen will be seen playing the lead opposite him. The movie should go on floors after March 2017.
