Varun Tej headed to Italy for Mister!

Varun Tej had a quite 2016, trying to complete his movies, Mister and Fida in the direction of big directors like Srinu Vaitla and Shekar Kammula. After his last movie, Loafer with Puri Jagannath turned out to be a disappointment, the actor took time off before accepting his next movie and there was also talk about him being part of Rayabhari, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi before the director decided to make Gautamiputra Satakarni with Nandamuri Balakrishna.

Now, the actor is ready to finish his Mister with Srinu Vaitla, slated for a release on 14th April. The entire work on the project got delayed as the actor got severely injured during the shoot. He had to be returned home as the injury was on his right leg and he was in position to walk. So the film, planned for a early December release had been postponed to April this year. The team worked nights and days to complete the movie after the hero joined the shoot.

Even though the movie shooting was almost complete and the post production work has been completed at double speed, the makers still had one song to be shot in foreign location. After quite deliberation, the producers and team made arrangements to shoot the song in Italy, as they thought it was most important for the story movement. Srinu Vaitla, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi with several crew members left for Italy this weekend and the actor, decided to share the news via his social media account on Twitter with a crew photograph.
