Varun Tej has faced a few setbacks with his recent films affecting his box office success. Some projects were delayed and he focused mainly on Korean Kanakaraju, directed by Merlapaka Gandhi.
He has completed most of the shooting and is currently on a paternity break. The remaining portions will be finished before the end of November.
Varun Tej has also approved a new project an untitled AI-based love story directed by Vikram Sirikonda. Although the film was planned last year it was delayed for various reasons.
The shoot is now scheduled to begin in December with a major portion set in the USA next year. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Varun will work on a profit sharing model, considering the budget.
Pre-production is almost complete and the project is ready to roll.
