Varun making way for Nani?

Varun Tej’s upcoming film Ghani, a boxing drama, was said to be releasing on December 24th, clashing with Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy. According to the latest reports, these plans have now been scrapped by the makers of Ghani, who are said to be making way for Shyam Singha Roy’s solo release.

Given that the industry is still on its way back to normalcy, and that Nani hasn’t had a theatrical release for his last two films, the makers are wanting to avoid a clash, as it would badly impact the revenue of both the films. Ghani is now said to be looking at a March 2022 release. The teaser of Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy was released a few days ago and has managed to create immense interest among audiences.

On the other hand, there are good expectations on Ghani as well, and the first looks and teasers that have been released so far show us that the film is going to be an intense sports drama. Kiran Korrapati is the director of Ghani, while Saiee Manjrekar is the leading lady of the film.
