Varun Dhawan talks about how he approached Nitesh Tiwari, the director of Dangal, and requested him to collaborate on a project.
At the premiere of the movie’s teaser, star Varun Dhawan confessed that renowned director Nitesh Tiwari never requested him to practise for the upcoming movie “Bawaal.”
Varun was questioned about preparation and whether it was difficult to take on Ajay’s part in “Bawaal,” which will premiere on Prime Video on 21 July, during the trailer event in Dubai on Sunday.
Varun claimed that although he frequently questioned the director about it, he never instructed him to make any preparations.
It was never tough, according to Varun. I frequently questioned Nitesh sir about how to prepare for the movie, but he never made me do any work. Finding a rhythm for the character with Nitesh Sir was all that was required. All credit for the show you’re watching goes to him. I can’t wait to show this movie to the public and am eager to hear any comments.
Varun also mentioned that he has always wanted to work with Nitesh.
“Working with Nitesh Sir was something I had always wanted to do. I vividly recall how frequently I requested Nitesh sir’s collaboration on a film during the Covid era. He had a story for me at last, after around 7-8 months. It’s one of my better characters, in my opinion. The closest thing to reality is this, remarked Varun.
‘Bawaal’ will have its international premiere on Prime Video on July 21. It was produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in association with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari’s Earthsky Pictures.
