Varun Dhawan-Keerthy Suresh’s Baby John To Drop On This Platform

Varun Dhawan’s action-thriller Baby John was released on Christmas 2024, amid massive expectations. However, the film failed to impress audiences and crashed at the box office. And now, as per the latest update, the movie will soon drop digitally on OTT giant Amazon Prime.

According to a report by News18, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital rights to Baby John and reportedly will release it in February or March 2025. Besides Varun, the movie also stars Jackie Shroff, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rajpal Yadav. Meanwhile, Salman Khan has an interesting cameo appearance in the film.

However, it should be noted that no official confirmation relating to Baby John’s OTT release has been made by either the makers or the platform.

Directed by Kalees, Baby John is presented by Jio Studios, Atlee, in association with A for Apple Studios and Cine1 Studios. Varun plays a cop in the film who fights against a menacing villain played by Jackie Shroff.

The film is a remake of Atlee’s 2016 Tamil film Theri and marked the Bollywood debut of Keerthy Suresh. The movie went on to earn only Rs 56.49–59 crore at the box office.

On the work front, Varun Dhawan has several projects lined-up including Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Border 2 in his kitty, while Keerthy will appear in two Tamil films in 2025 – Revolver Rita and Kannivedi.
