Prabhas’ first big hit, Varsham and Mahesh Babu’s Okkadu are credited to one producer, MS Raju. He produced films like Manasantha Nuvve and Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana as well. From being the producer of such youthful entertainers, he turned into a director of adult film, Dirty Hari. He faced losses as a producer post Vaana, as his films did not click at the box office and hence, he had to wait till he finds investors for his films as a director. He finally completed Dirty Hari with Sharavan, Simrat Kaur and Ruhani Sharma as leads.
The movie is said to be 100% adult dark comedy and it is set for OTT release, mostly. The offers for the film from different platforms have been high it seems. If the director continues to make such movies, he may have to look at OTT platforms as best option to release than conventional theatrical system. RGV has set the path of other makers to follow and MS Raju might just be one of those first few people to make more adult oriented content with an outlook for OTT market!
