The creators of the Prabhas and Kriti Sanon movie “Adipurush” have changed the speech after it caused controversy.
The speech in the movie “Adipurush,” starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has caused controversy and been dubbed “tapori.” The contentious lines in the movie have now been replaced by the producers as promised.
The speech in question was spoken by Bajrang (Hanuman), who was played by Devdatta Nage in the scene with Lanka Dahan.
The original lines were: “Kapda tere baap ka, tel tere baap ka, aag bhi tere baap ki, aur jalegi bhi tere baap ki.”
Adipurush’s lines, however, have been altered in the most recent printing.
The words have now been changed from “baap” to “Lanka”. A spectator shared a sample from the new printing on Twitter, which sounds like “Kapda teri Lanka ka, tel teri Lanka ka, aag bhi teri Lanka ki, aur jalegi bhi teri Lanka hi.”
Not only that, but a couple additional Adipurush dialogues have also been altered. One such is “Jo hamari behno…unki Lanka laga denge” has been transformed into “Jo hamari behno… unki Lanka mein aag laga denge.”
Another dialogue that faced extreme criticism was “Mera ek sapole ne tumhare sheshnaag ko lamba kar diya”. Now, it has been changed to “Mere ek sapole ne tumhare iss sheshnaag ko samapt kar diya… bhara pada hai.”
The Ramayana serves as the inspiration for Adipurush. Om Raut is the director of the movie.
Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, Sunny Singh, and Devdutta Nage are among the stars of Adipurush. On June 16, it was made available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
