Valmiki slows down in the US

The single screens and mass audience have lapped up Valmiki in a big way as the film is making good money at the local box office. It has already touched the 14 crores mark today.

But the same is not the case in the US as the film is struggling to do business at the box office. It has made only $340k which is less when compared to his other film Tholi Prema which made $600k.

Valmiki is a mass remake of the hit Tamil film Jigathanada. Varun Tej’s mass makeover has worked well for the masses but the A centers have slowed down with their collections. This week will be crucial for the film.
