Powerstar Pawan Kalyan made his much-awaited comeback to films this year, with Vakeel Saab, directed by Venu Sriram, and produced by Dil Raju and Boney Kapoor. The film is the remake of the Hindi film Pink, starring Amitabh Bachchan.
Despite releasing at the time of the onset of the second wave of coronavirus, Vakeel Saab managed to do an impressive business, garnering a good revenue at the box office. However, the theatrical run of the film was affected by the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, due to which it was released earlier on Amazon Prime, where it garnered an impressive number of views.
On July 18th, Vakeel Saab had its television premiere on Zee Telugu, and the film has once against performed exceptionally well, having received as much as 19.12 TRP ratings. This is a huge number, given that not many films damage to get such a good number. This once again proves how much audiences fell in love with Vakeel Saab, and Pawan’s swag and style in the film. On the other hand, Pawan is currently busy with the remake of the Malayalam film Ayyappanum Koshium.
