Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s film, Varisu under the direction of Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally had a theatrical across the globe on January 11th. Produced by Dil Raju, the film is had a theatrical release in Telugu as Vaarasudu on January 14th.
Though the film opened to mixed reports, it managed to collect Rs 300 crore gross at the worldwide box office by the end of its full run. We had already reported that noted digital platform Amazon Prime Video has acquired the digital streaming rights of Varisu. Meanwhile, the latest news is that Vaarasudu/ Varisu is gearing up for premieres on the OTT platform on February 22nd. The film will be available in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam versions with English subtitles, say reports.
As per the inside reports, for Vaarasudu Vijay took Rs 150 crore as his remuneration.Vaarasudu also has Sharathkumar, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Kick Shyam, Prakash Raj among others in prominent roles. Varisu has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Thaman is the music composer for this family entertainer.
