Vaani Kapoor, a wartime actor, recently travelled to New York City to indulge her passion for musicals and broadways. This is how her journey went.
Actress Vaani Kapoor recently visited New York City to see the operatic musicals on Broadway since she is an ardent follower of big-budget, blockbuster musicals.
The ‘War’ actress revealed during her visit to the US that she has always been a huge fan of musicals and considers them to be incredibly inspirational.
Vaani described her passion for musicals as follows: “I’ve always enjoyed watching musicals. I recently had the opportunity to see several well-known musicals back-to-back while visiting New York.
She continued, “A live play or musical is so alluring with each moment so well enhanced on stage that it can never be duplicated. I’ve always felt lighter, happier and have been creatively inspired by it”.
The Bell Bottom actress added, “Being in a Broadway theatre with a live audience is unparalleled. The intensity and immersion are unmatched. Returning to a Broadway production is like returning for just a little bit more magic, making every moment really immersive and unmatched.
Vaani Kapoor saw a number of Broadway musicals, including a lavish version of the well-known animated film “Aladdin.” The production’s dazzling visuals are delightfully pantomime-inspired, with actors breaking the fourth wall to address the audience directly.
The following day, she witnessed the musical “Six,” also known as “Six: A pop concert,” which featured the six ex-wives of Henry the Eighth and was staged in a pop concert style.
She finished her viewing of the Tony Award-winning play “MJ.” The iconic dancing phenomenon and “King of Pop,” Michael Jackson, had a busy career, and the show is full of moving moments and timeless music from his period.
On the professional front, Vaani Kapoor will be seen starring in two very different projects: the crime-thriller series “Mandala Murders,” an OTT production of Yash Raj Films, and the comic flick “Sarvagunn Sampanna,” from Maddock Films.
