Vaani Kapoor Reflects On Her Journey

Vaani Kapoor, in an interview opened up about the challenges she faces in getting good scripts and meaningful roles.

Her latest project, Mandala Murders, marks her OTT debut and is currently streaming on Netflix.

Directed by Gopi Puthran, the series is set in the mysterious town of Charandaspur and follows two detectives investigating ritualistic killings tied to an ancient secret society.

Starring alongside Surveen Chawla, Mandala Murders is Vaani’s 10th release in 12 years. Despite her passion for acting she said it hasn’t been easy to find roles that allow her to try something new.

“I want to do more films, but the right opportunities haven’t come easily” she said.

Vaani added that she focuses on self belief and only takes up projects she truly believes in. She’s driven by a desire to do good work not by fame or money.
