Released on June 3rd, Kamal Haasan’s action thriller, Vikram and Adivi Sesh’s patriotic drama completed the first weekend run at the worldwide box office. While Vikram has posted solid numbers, Major also generated decent revenues as well.
At the US box office, Vikram collected more than $1.73 million by the end of the Sunday run and is heading towards $2 million. On the other hand, Adivi Sesh’s Major grossed more than $856K by the end of its first weekend in the US and is expected to touch $1 million mark soon.
At the domestic circuits, Vikram posted a massive of more than Rs 100 gross and Major minted close to Rs 50 crore gross, say our trade sources.
