For the past decade or so, the US market has been very encouraging for the Indian movies. Especially, South languages films have been doing absolutely brilliant in the region. Even the recently released SS Rajamouli’s RRR is minting gold at the US box office.
Cashing in on the craze, our South filmmakers are selling their films for a whopping price for the North American territory. Meanwhile, the latest news is that Kollywood star Vijay’s upcoming film, Beast is sold for a decent price and has to collect $1.5 million dollars to achieve the break-even target.
Coming to the upcoming Telugu biggies like Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s Acharya and Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata, both the films have to collect more than $2.6 million individually to achieve break-even at the US box office. Last but not least, the craze of Kannada star Yash’s much-awaited pan-India movie, KGF2 is beyond imagination among the overseas audience and the pre-sales are growing with the each passing day.
