When asked about the attack on Saif she shifted the focus to her own achievements, talking about her success and showing off gifts like a diamond ring and a Rolex watch.

Her response which seemed out of touch and self-centered, quickly went viral with netizens criticizing her for being insensitive about a serious matter.

Following this she apologized on social media clarifying that she was unaware of the severity of the incident at the time.

She wrote “Sir Saif, I deeply regret my words during the interview. I sincerely apologize to you and your fans. I didn’t realize how serious the attack was and was caught up in celebrating my film’s success. Your bravery in such a situation is truly admirable, and my respect for you has grown immensely”.
