Vaisshnav Tej and Krithi Shetty starrer Uppena have become a sensational blockbuster. The film has registered sensational numbers in the first week. It reached breakeven within the three days and marked 35 Cr share in the first week. The second weekend is strong as well. Especially, on Sunday the film has recorded the highest collections among the released movies. It dominated this week’s movie releases as well.
On the other hand, Naandhi which started slowly at the box-office has gained strength with positive word of mouth. The film has seen housefuls on Saturday and Sunday and it has reached breakeven. It is the first success for Allari Naresh after a gap of nearly 8 years.
Chakra and Pogaru which registered better numbers on Day 1 have slowed down significantly. These movies are yet to recover 50 percent of the investments. Sumanth’s Kapatadhaari will end up as a flop.
