Upendra’s role in Varun Tej’s sports drama revealed

Kannada star hero Upendra is playing a crucial character in young mega hero Varun Tej’s upcoming sports drama. The film is being directed by debutante Kiran Korrapati. Bollywood star heroine Saiee Manjrekar is debuting in Tollywood with this movie. This untitled film has started its shoot before lockdown and completed a schedule. It was supposed to be released by July 31st, 2020. However, due to the present conditions shooting has been stalled.

Makers are contemplating to resume the film’s shoot next month. Upendra has given his consent to join the shoot from next month. According to the close sources, Upendra is playing Father’s character to Varun Tej. It is for the first time that Upendra is playing the Father character. Though he is always yes for strong character roles, those are of either villainous or other crucial characters. Upendra being Father to Varun Tej is definitely going to be a surprise package.
