A couple of days back we reported that Kushi starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha in the lead roles resumed its shooting. It is widely known that the film was temporarily kept on hold as Sam suffered from health issues a few months back.
Being directed by Shiva Nirvana, already news came out that Kushi wrapped up seventy percent of its shooting part. Reportedly, the film resumed its shooting silently without making any noise from Monday. As per the reports, the shoot happened in and around Chilkur Balaji Temple. Samantha will be joining the film sets in the ongoing schedule itself.
Now, the latest news is that the makers of Kushi are planning to release Kushi in the month of June. The exact release date of the film is likely to be out in the next couple of months. Touted as a romantic drama, Kushi is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers. Malayalam music composer Hesham Abdul Wahab is composing soundtracks for the film. Apart from Kushi, Vijay Deverakonda has yet another crazy project under the direction of Gowtam Tinnanuri in the pipeline.
Coming to Samantha, it is well-established news that as she recovered to an extent, a few weeks back Samantha landed in Mumbai to join the sets of her new web series with Bollywood star Varun Dhawan. Said to be an official remake of the Russo Brothers’ American show, Citadel, the project being directed by director duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
