In recent years, the Malayalam film industry has witnessed a remarkable surge in its popularity, both within India and across the globe.   • Charles Enterprises (Amazon Prime Video):

The comedy-drama film Charles Enterprises centers on Ravi Kumaraswamy, a young man from Kochi who suffers from night blindness. He eventually steals a Ganesha idol from his mother, Gomathi, a devoted devotee. Urvashi, Balu Varghese, Kalaiyarasan, Guru Somasundaram, Sujith Shanker, Abhija Sivakala, Manikandan Achari, Bhanu, Mridula Madhav, and Sudheer Paravoor appear in the film. Subramanian K V composed the film’s music, and Ashok Ponnappan created the original background score.

  • Sulaikha Manzil (Disney+ Hotstar):

When Haala and Ameen’s marriage is decided on the spur of the moment, with little time to prepare, it leads to a chaotic and emotional ride between the families in the film Sulaikha Manzil. The film will be available on the OTT platform Disney+ Hotstar. It’s a lighthearted romantic comedy. Sulaikha Manzil was written and directed by Ashraf Hamza.

  • Mea Culpa ( Saina Play):

The plot centers around a trapped girl. For an unclear reason, the dangerous man attempts to harm her. Things take an unexpected turn since there is hidden vengeance involved. Saina Play has acquired Mea Culpa’s digital streaming rights.

  • Vichithram (Amazon Prime Video):

Ajith Joy and Achu Vijayan produced it under the company Joy Movie Productions. Nikhil Ravindran wrote the screenplay. Shine Tom Chacko, Balu Varghese, Lal, and Kani Kusruti star in the film. Arjun Balakrishnan handles the cinematography, and the music is composed by Jubair Muhammed[5] in collaboration with the well-known alternative hip-hop group Street Academics. The plot revolves around the strange events when a woman named Jasmine and her five boys move into an expensive, ancient mansion. Each boy has his unique characteristics. Vichithram means “out of the ordinary.”

  • Sesham Mikeil Fathima (Netflix):

This is a lighthearted, fun story about a young woman who works as a football announcer in Malappuram. Fathima’s story is set against the backdrop of the game. Sesham Mikeil Fathima, on the other hand, is not a sports narrative. Shaheen Siddique has a brief appearance in the film

  • Pakalum Pathiraavum (Zee5):

Ajai Vasudev’s Pakalum Paathiravum is an action family thriller film starring Kunchacko Boban, Rajisha Vijayan, and Guru Somasundaram. The film is a remake of the 2018 Kannada film Aa Karaala Ratri. Pakalum Paathiravum tells the narrative of Michael, a wildlife photographer who embarks on a dangerous trek from Kochi to Mysore. The film explores the tense moments that occur while he travels through the Maoist-occupied islands of Wayanad.

  • Uru (Yet to be known):

E M Ashraf directs the movie featuring Mammukoya, Manoj K.U., Manju Pathrous, and Ajay Kallai as lead characters. The premise of the Malayalam-language film revolves around migrant life situations and women’s empowerment. Actor Mammykoya is said to have a significant role in the movie.

  • Maheshum Maruthiyum (Yet to be known):

The film’s OTT streaming partner and release date are yet to be determined. The film is set to be released in theatres on March 10. The story of Maheshum Maruthiyum takes place in 1983. It is a love triangle narrative. A Maruti 800, a guy, and a woman are involved.
