Unverified Rumours Spread Around Smriti Mandhana

Usually when a celebrity wedding is about to happen, social media buzzes with discussions. The same happened with Indian women’s cricket star Smriti Mandhana who was expected to get married recently.

Suddenly news came out that her father had a heart-related issue and the wedding was postponed indefinitely. Reports said Smriti would not get married unless her father was healthy and present.

After the wedding was put on hold social media began spreading many rumours about the groom, Palash Muchchal.

Some posts claimed he cheated on her while others suggested the couple had problems and decided to cancel the wedding. These rumours grew stronger when Smriti deleted her wedding photos from Instagram.
