Udit Narayan is facing controversy after his first wife, Ranjana Jha filed a complaint against him at the Women’s Police Station in Supaul, Bihar on February 10th.
She accused him and some family members of serious wrongdoing that she says happened many years ago. Jha said she married Udit Narayan in 1984 according to Hindu traditions in a grand way.
She said that he went to Mumbai in 1985 for his music career and later married another woman without informing her.
She also made serious allegations about a hospital incident in 1996 saying a medical procedure was done without her consent.
Ranjana further accused him of neglect and mistreatment over the years. Police have confirmed that the matter is under investigation but Udit has not yet responded to these allegations.
