The Telugu film industry has produced several remakes over the years, having remade films from other languages in Telugu, and on some occasions, remaking old films with a new and modern twist. There have also been movies with similar storylines that were made during a certain period of time, but there have never been instances where two or more movies were made based on the same incidents at the same time.
A similar situation is now happening in Tollywood, with Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao, directed by Vamsee, and Bellamkonda Srinivas’s Stuartpuram Donga, directed by KS. Both the films are based on the life of Tiger Nageswara Rao of Stuartpuram. Given that fact, it is surprising to see that two films are being made on the same person at the same time.
While it is certain that there would be differences in the way a film is handled, and in the way the script is written, and even in the performances of the actors, there are a lot of doubts about these films, and it is now to be seen what will happen.
