Tusshar Kapoor last seen in Kapkapiii, is now working on a political thriller titled Janadesh directed by Prakash Jha. The film has a strong cast and Tusshar plays an important role.
Talking about how the project started, Tusshar said that Prakash Jha personally called him and offered the role which felt like an unexpected opportunity.
Known mostly for comedy and lighthearted roles Tusshar feels this film is a refreshing change.
He said it wasn’t about breaking his image but he always wanted to do a political thriller, especially with a filmmaker like Prakash Jha whose work he deeply admires.
Tusshar is preparing for the role through workshops with Prakash discussing the character and expectations. He clarified that his role is not based on one real person but inspired by real events and people. With Janadesh, Tusshar is ready to show a completely new side of himself to audiences.
