Rumours recently claimed that actors Mrunal Thakur and Dhanush were getting married on February 14th. However sources close to the Tamil star quickly denied these reports.
Soon after a picture of Mrunal and Dhanush sitting at what looked like a wedding ceremony went viral on social media creating more buzz. The image claimed they got married in a private ceremony in Chennai, with several big stars attending.
But there is no truth to these claims. The viral picture is AI generated and completely fake. Mrunal and Dhanush have not gotten married and are busy with their respective film commitments.
Few sources from Dhanush clearly stated that the rumours are baseless and asked people not to believe fake images. Mrunal also reacted indirectly by posting, “Grounded, glowing and unshaken!” on Instagram.
Earlier too, Mrunal had dismissed link-up rumours with Dhanush, saying he is just a good friend. Similar fake wedding images of other stars have circulated online in the past.
