True to his name, he was ‘Krishna’ to NTR

Nandamuri Harikirishna is no more. We feel bad to write these words as we know what impact he had on Industry and NTR’s political life as a loving son and disciplined producer. Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao wanted his sons to take up acting if they are interested and charismatic enough from their young age, while never asked them to neglect their. He is a BA Graduate himself and he knew the value of education. When it came to Harikrishna and Balakrishna, he wanted both of them to try as actors.

Harikrishna had his grandfather’s support too. From the young age, NTR wanted Harikrishna to grow streetsmart and hence, encouraged him to stay with his grandparents in the village, Nimmakooru, while Balakrishna was the city boy. In Krishnavataram, for his father, NTR accepted Harikrishna’s small cameo and that’s how he debuted in films. Later, by the time of Thathamma Kala, NTR wanted both his sons to be part of film business and Harikrishna acted in the film.

From then on, Harikrishna stayed with NTR to take care of the production and even though he wanted to become an actor, he chose to be his father’s side and that made him appear as his favourite son to on-lookers. He slowly became his strength and took over the production completely by the time of Dana Veera Sura Karna. He did act in the film and managed all the things under his father’s guidance. This made NTR appreciate him even more.

So, Harikrishna turned into Krishna for his father as his Saradhi, when he took plunge into politics. He is known as an expert ‘Driver’ for his skills and he even did not care for his health. All he wanted to see is, his father’s happiness. He happily let his brother Balakrishna be the acting successor as his father needed a political successor too. Today, losing him will be a great void for Nandamuri Family as they lost their Krishna and we hear Jr. NTR and Kalyanram are inconsolable. Our deepest condolences to the family and hope to see the family cope up with this loss as one unit.
